IAESTE Iran
IAESTE
was first established at the University of Tehran. The
faculty of Engineering at the University of Tehran applied
for a membership as a Co-operating Institution which was
accepted on June 2002 in Advisory Committee at Varsho,
Poland. Since then, the executive committee started its
activities and during the first year we had 20 offers which
were exchanged with different countries and as a result 13
outgoings and 3 incomings passed internships in. Each year
the number of our offers was increased and we are proud that
during the previous years we have been he representative of
Iran with more 100 offers annually and a number of 70
exchanges each year. Sharif University of Technology became
a member one year after IAESTE at the University of Tehran.
Later we decided to join both Cooperating Institutions to
make a better outcome. So in January 2005 we applied for
Associate Membership and Iran is at the moment one of the
active members of
IAESTE.
